Mr. Al Bowardi’s principal responsibilities outside Mubadala are as Secretary-General and Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Chairman of the Western Region Development Committee; board member and Managing Director of the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD) and board member of the UAE Offset Program Bureau, Dolphin Energy, Union National Bank and Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority.
Mr. Al Bowardi graduated from Lewis & Clark College, U.S.A., receiving a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science.
