The Mubadala GE framework agreement is for a global partnership encompassing a broad range of business initiatives and areas of joint cooperation.
These include commercial finance, industry and corporate learning, clean energy research and development, and expansion of local aviation and maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) services to support the large number of GE aircraft engines in service throughout the Middle East.
Plans to establish a new corporate leadership training center and a clean energy technology center in Masdar City, a clean technology cluster under development near Abu Dhabi, are well advanced.
