Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi
Phase I of Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi PPP Project, a 100 percent Mubadala investment, was completed in mid-2009.
The new campus is the first French institution of higher education in the Gulf region, and the first campus outside France for one of the world’s oldest universities. It will provide courses in arts, languages and political sciences.
The campus is under construction on Al Reem Island, a residential, commercial and business development situated 600 meters off the coast of Abu Dhabi, and close to the downtown area of the city.
The campus will feature approximately 93,000m of newly built, state-of-the-art teaching and recreational facilities, including accommodation for students.
