Mubadala Capital’s Private Equity team employs an integrated investment approach and through its global relationships identifies compelling themes and attractive actionable opportunities with a focus on capital preservation and downside protection in order to generate superior risk-adjusted returns.

- Ability to generate proprietary deal flow through sovereign access and a differentiated network of unique global relationships.
Mubadala Capital’s Private Equity team currently invests third-party capital on behalf of institutional investors in three private equity funds together with Mubadala’s balance sheet assets for invested and committed capital of over U.S. $8 billion.
Typical Investment Parameters
Multi-sector focus across media, sports and entertainment, consumer and food services, midstream pipelines, financial services, industrials and business services among others.
The investment strategy excludes real estate, businesses with excessive commodity exposure and turnaround situations.
North America and Europe; may consider other geographies on a selective basis, particularly where Mubadala’s relationships can be leveraged.
U.S. $50-250 million with the flexibility to pursue transactions outside of the targeted range and across the capital structure.
