Hani Ahmad Barhoush
Hani Ahmad Barhoush is the Chief Executive Officer of Disruptive Investments at Mubadala, where he is responsible for overseeing a number of business units including Ventures and Growth, Credit Investments, as well as Country Direct Investment programs.
Hani is also Managing Director and CEO of Mubadala Capital, the wholly owned asset management subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, which today manages over US $10 billion in third-party capital vehicles on behalf of over 50 institutional investors in its four businesses, including three private equity funds, two early stage venture funds, a public equities fund and two funds in Brazil focused on special situations.
Prior to joining Mubadala in 2004, Hani was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith in New York, USA.
He graduated from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Services (BSFS) degree. He also holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, as well as a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Harvard Law School.
